    Our last-mile delivery partners are crucial to our service,and we work closely with them to make sure deliveries large andsmall get to where they need to be.

    As a Third Party LogisticsManager, you'll make sure we have the best relationship possiblewith our partners.

    You'll build connections, help them putprocesses in place for efficient delivery, and smooth out anyissues they experience, all with the aim of creating a partnershipthat's successful for many years.

    Key jobresponsibilities

    • Safety: Partnering with Safety andRegional Managers to ensure business safety compliance.
    • Performance: Guiding owners as they scale their business and manageoperational issues, ensuring they have resources in place toeffectively ramp up operations and prepare for peakperiod.
    • Performance: Supporting owners as they onboardto the program and prepare to launch (this will be on the basis ofa net new launch only).
    • Performance: Coaching businessowners to run compliant, safe and high performing companies (SLSmetric deep dive).
    • Identifying workflow inefficienciesand working to formulate and implement operational improvements atthe network level and to improve the individual DSP ownerexperience.
    • Developing the relationship between Amazonand our DSP partners (DSP sentiment improvements)
    • Communication alignment to DSP business owners following closecollaboration with OTR partners.
    • Be the voice of theDSP within and represent them within the AMZL business.
    • Coach and ensure effective upskilling and utilization oftools.
    • Deep dive to identify customer metricimprovement opportunities.
    • Champion the consistentapplication of Last Mile processes within Delivery Stations –challenge UTR processes that impact OTR.
    • Improve driverstandards to protect brand image.

    You'll be based at one of our sites.

    Being on siteallows you to stay close to every part of the delivery process andmeans you have visibility of everything to guide our logisticspartners.

    You'll look after all elements of our partnerrelationships, from getting the contracts in place to keeping trackof performance.

    This role is all about clearcommunication.

    You'll be in daily contact with the partners youmanage to make sure they have everything they need to carry outdeliveries on time.

    Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile'delivery duties in partnership with third-party distributionbusinesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvementinitiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands ofour customers.

    Our goal is to make our customers' deliveryexperience as smooth as possible and roll out global deliverysolutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now andAmazon Restaurants.

    There are two sides towhat we do. Our 'under the roof' associates process millions ofproducts for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team ispeople-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our peoplework through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7shifts in most of our locations.

    Meanwhile,our 'on the road' people work with Amazon Flex - a network ofdelivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar forcustomer experience with new, innovative delivery services.

    We lookfor new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and newideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio ofcutting-edge vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technologyto help us do just that.

    BASICQUALIFICATIONS

    - A degree.

    • Relevantexperience in Operations, Last Mile or account or relationshipmanagement, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/suppliermanagement.
    • Relevant experience working with thirdparty resources on a regional/national scale.
    • Relevantexperience working with a contingent workforce in a business withpeak seasons.
    • Relevant experience in using dataanalytics to solve problems such as customer, partner or businessperformance issues.
    • Advanced proficiency in written andverbal German.

    PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

    - Relevant experience scoping, leading,and implementing process improvements through: Lean process,Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma.

    • Relevant experience ofcommunicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including yourpeers and leadership.
