    Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Takes lead as key communicator within the business unit to help energize and inspire the organization toward global CAD/PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) standards and processes
  • Expand the utilization of the PLM systems using SIEMENS Teamcenter and CAD products (SolidWorks & NX)
  • Lead and manage a team of 3
  • Administrate SolidWorks, NX, Teamcenter, and peripheral equipment to help develop and document best practices
  • Offer instruction and training to engineering, engineering support, and manufacturing as needed
  • Ensuring alignment of PLM activities with global strategy
  • Review current local operational PLM processes for potential improvements
  • Design and propose new procedures and rules inside Teamcenter and CAD to speed up design processes
  • Manage interfaces with IT and other related departments
  • Maintain existing database / Teamcenter datasets
  • CAD/ PLM requirements management

    • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Technical/engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, e-technology, or similar with a strong affinity for IT or computer science degree with a focus on engineering/design
  • Several years of experience in the same or similar field
  • Ability to manage and lead a small team
  • Experience in PLM/ CAD Administration and user support
  • Experience in rollout of PLM/ CAD systems
  • Solid experience in: Teamcenter 12, SolidWorks 2020, NX 12, SAP
  • Fluent English and German language
