- Perform quality inspections according to defined standards for final inspection and conformity, stop points, FAI, functional tests, rework and critical activities (if not delegated) and relevant documentation.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for quality and technical incidents that occur in the workshop area and have an impact on quality costs.
- Ensure that containment, corrective and preventive actions are carried out by the responsible departments through multifunctional teams.
- Contribute to safeguarding the production process by quickly processing quality problems and preventing foreign body damage.
- Ensuring operational surveillance (employees, products and processes) for assigned tasks.
- Supervision/coaching of employees with L1/L2 delegation in their daily job.
- Handling of measurement methods, subcontractors for quality, fixtures & tools.
- Supporting releasing personnel to maintain flight operations.
- Training as an aircraft mechanic (at least technician/technical specialist), industrial training (at least technician/technical specialist) or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience in the airframe/engine area
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Solution-oriented & careful way of working
- Assertiveness, independence, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Residence in Germany
