    IT Specialist (m/f/d) in the area of laboratory workstation in the field of clinical procedures

    UKSH Gesellschaft für IT Services mbH, based in Lübeck, provides all IT services for the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) and thus supports cutting-edge medicine and research at Schleswig-Holstein's largest employer. Our service portfolio includes support for administrative and clinical systems, including customizing applications and providing the IT infrastructure, service desk and IT support. We also provide IT services to UKSH subsidiaries and other external customers.

    Join our team at the Lübeck campus and support us full-time as soon as possible - part-time is generally possible. The position is advertised as a temporary position to cover during parental leave until May 31, 2026.

    What you can expect

    • Service owner responsibility: in addition to the support and further development of our applications in the laboratory, you will be responsible for the further digitalization of pathology
    • Together with our motivated team, you will ensure that our systems are optimally configured and further developed
    • Participation in project teams to actively shape and take on sub-project management tasks
    • Contact person for users and responsible for the corresponding support, including support with questions and problems
    • Carrying out release tests and planning and implementing software updates
    • Creation of training materials and internal documentation for knowledge transfer within the team
    • Analyzing and rectifying errors that occur as part of second-level support
    • Participation in on-call duty

    What you bring with you

    • Completed IT training with a focus on practical application support or medical / medical informatics training with a strong affinity for IT
    • Team player with communication skills and a high level of commitment
    • Ideally experience in project work or sub-project management
    • Structured, independent and reliable way of working
    • Understanding of clinical processes and knowledge of the systems mentioned is an advantage
    • Confident handling of MS Office applications
