The Social Therapeutic Children and Youth Welfare Network of AWO Karlsruhe non-profit GmbH operates a full inpatient, systemic therapeutic residential group for primary school-aged children. The focus is on system therapeutic work with both the children and their family systems.

Social Worker / Social Pedagogue (m/f/d)

Full-time position: 100%, permanent

Your responsibilities include:

• Building trusting relationships with the children and their families
• Planning and implementing recreational activities
• Assisting with school matters and everyday support
• Developing perspectives and achieving help plan goals
• Collaborating with involved parties (parents, Social Services, schools)

We are looking for someone with:

• Degree in Social Pedagogy / Social Work or equivalent
• Additional qualification as a Systemic Consultant / Therapist / Supervisor or Coach (SG/DGSF)
• Driving license Class 3 or B
• Availability for shift work, weekends, and night shifts
• Resilience, patience, and teamwork
