    About the role:

    The Vice President Large Scale Solar - Central Europe (the VP) is the primary person responsible for the Large Scale market segment & Project Solutions. The position manages all utility scale sales, application engineering, grid modelling, project management and service activities undertaken within the focus market.

    The purpose of the position is to ensure that the Large-Scale Solar segment team functions as a cohesive, effective and profitable team. The VP is responsible for the development and execution of the market specific targets and strategy and ensuring that team is aligned with global strategic goals. The VP is responsible to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders at senior levels within the renewable energy industry in Central Europe.

    Responsibilities:

    • Represent the Large Scale Solar segment towards all external and internal stakeholders.
    • Lead the Central Europe management team with End to End responsibility for all Large Scale functions.
    • Year on year profitable growth and operation of the focus markets within the region, achieving local sales and EBIT targets.
    • Drive major contractual negotiations together with Legal and Sales.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the customers and the future market needs.
    • Localisation of global segment strategy and execution aligned to local market needs.

    Requirements:

    • Fluent German and English are a must. Any other European language is a plus.
    • More than 10 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and Large Scale Solar projects in a directive level and good knowledge of inverters for photovoltaic systems.
    • Experience in leading a cross functional, multicultural team in sales, business development or general management and sound knowledge of the Solar, Storage and Energy Industry
    • Experience in Sales for Utility Scale projects, project management and commercial management is a must.
    • Be highly customer centric and target orientated with excellent negotiation skills to adapt to continuous marketplace changes, bringing a business approach which is flexible and enjoys being an active team player.
    • Technical understanding of the renewable energy industry and the ability to communicate general technical concepts is essential
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce required.

    For you:

    • Fixed based salary of 155K (gross annual in EUR) maximum + variable bonus + company car or car allowance.
