- Supporting our SAP Basis Administration team in diverse and challenging projects within the SAP Basis environment.
- Administrating operations for our numerous SAP clients, requiring knowledge in various areas such as:
- Operating all SAP products (with a focus on ERP and BW)
- Solution Manager expertise (particularly in monitoring, service level reporting, managed system configuration)
- Authorization management (role administration)
- Change and transport management (handling transport requests)
- Applying support packages
- Implementing notes
- Client copies
- Kernel updates
- System copies
- Database administration
- Ensuring functionality during on-call duty
- Solution-oriented, focused work with a team spirit
- General support and ticket handling
- Assistance during the transition phase
- Maintenance of operation manuals
- Coordination with other operational teams (e.g., backup, infrastructure) and project consultants
- Successfully completed (business) informatics degree (university/college/university of applied sciences) or equivalent professional experience or training
- Several years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP operations
- Experience in managing customer transitions and SAP system administration
- SAP certified technology consultant
- Strong knowledge in at least two of the following platforms:
- Windows, i5/OS (IBM i, AS/400), AIX, and Linux
- Thorough database knowledge in HANA and at least one other database (DB2, Oracle, ASE, MaxDB)
- Fluent in German and good English language skills both written and spoken
- Independent, team-oriented, meticulous, and structured way of working
- Quick adaptation to new technologies and processes
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with colleagues, employees, and clients
