Job TitleSenior Finance & Tax Expert (m/f/d)Summary of the role:
Reporting to the Deputy Head of the German CoE team, you will manage and support critical activities with respect to Accounting & Regulatory Compliance, Local Statutory Accounts Reporting & Audit as well as Tax Compliancy for specified entities within the region.
This position is temporary, with a fixed-term contract lasting one year.About the team:
The German CoE team is responsible to lead and manage critical activities of 6 legal entities within the German region
Your main responsibilities:
Review, reconcile and clear periodic financial closing activities with respect to IFRS & HGB of specified companies within the region.
In addition, you will prepare tax compliancy calculations and the subsequent returns for filing with the tax authorities, as well a regulatory filing compliancy required for those specific companies.
Support financial and tax audits as they occur and be involved in supporting Corporate driven Finance & Tax projects.About the ideal candidate:
University degree in Finance or equivalent professional qualification is required.
Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity for an international company. At least 3 of those years gained in an International Tax and / or Auditing company / capacity.
You have experience working with SAP, good understanding of IFRS; HGB and Tax Accounting.
You should have written and verbal fluency in English with German as a plus.
A knowledge of German Tax rules and guidelines would be advantageous.
