Role Overview:

As a Senior Consultant specializing in Cloud Advisory for the German public sector, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to government clients seeking to harness the power of cloud technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing tailored cloud strategies aligned with the unique objectives and regulatory landscape of the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with government agencies to understand their specific business challenges and objectives, identifying opportunities for cloud adoption and digital transformation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to design comprehensive cloud strategies and roadmaps that align with the mission objectives and regulatory requirements of government clients.
• Offer expert advice and thought leadership on cloud architecture, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and security standards within the German public sector.
• Assess the technology environments of government clients and develop customized solutions for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust cloud architectures that meet the scalability, security, and data privacy requirements of the public sector.
• Manage risks associated with cloud initiatives, proactively identifying and mitigating potential challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, sharing insights and best practices with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Proven experience in advising government clients on cloud strategy, architecture, and implementation, ideally within a consulting environment.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and security standards in the German public sector, including familiarity with data protection laws and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
