Product Design Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Designs NORMA Group drawings (e.g. quotation and manufacturing), the creation and tracking of part numbers, the product verification and validation process
Establishes the D-FMEA (Software: Apis)
Defines customer-owned interfacing components (e.g. flanges, spigots, gaskets etc.)
Initiates and drives Global Excellence and VA/VE activities (cost saving, efficiency improvement)
Identifies, communicates and leads innovation projects.
Testing and calculation regarding technical competitor analysis (e.g.: benchmarking)
Develops and maintains the design guidelines, as well as carrying out product trainings
Accountable for processing customer inquiries / projects (daily business)
Your Profile:
Successfully completed studies as Bachelor / Dipl. Ing. / Master in mechanical engineering
Several years of experience in relevant and comparable function with focus on product design
Experienced in leading projects from customer request till series production with regard to product development
Very good English knowledge written and spoken; German is an advantage
Able to establish and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships
Proficient in designing efficient processes / products
Motivated teamplayer with can-do attitude and ability to identify new opportunities
Experienced in creating and reviewing internal and external standards (e.g. DIN)
