- You research the state of the art of RL and project-specific topics, such as driving dynamics.
- You modify the existing RL frameworks, e.g. by implementing new features.
- You apply the existing RL frameworks to project-specific problems.
- You document and present the results.
- Ongoing Master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science or a related field
- Good knowledge of Python
- Basic knowledge of machine learning methods in general and RL in particular
- Practical experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, DL-Toolbox)
- Familiarity with tools for collaborative software development (e.g. git)
- German and English language skills of at least C1 level
- Experience with Reinforcement Learning
- Experience with Matlab
- Experience with CarMaker
- Basic physical understanding of vehicle dynamic models, e.g. driving dynamics
