    Your challenges:

  • Work together with experienced technical experts and learn the basics of project management in Research and Development
  • Support various project related activities of our scientists.
  • Run small scale simulation trials, arrange analytical measurement applying advanced data processing.
  • Conduct and present literature and state-of-the-art search analysis on project related objectives.
  • After a short learning phase, support applied research activities in the area of cream cheese or process cheese or natural cheese. The applicant will learn to work with dairy specific equipment, will produce prototypes in bench top or pilot plant scale and will analyze the cheeses for relevant parameters. Depending on the scope of the activity, method development may be included as well. Scientific working principles need to be applied, which includes literature and or patent searches. The results will be shared in an oral presentation and in a written form (report)

    For this role you will need to have:

  • Student in Food Technology/Science or Chemical Engineering
  • Basic experience in using food processing equipment in plant or pilot plant
  • Dedicated interest and skills in process engineering, related data processing and software application
  • Very innovative and team building attitude
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Fluent in spoken English (German would be an asset)
  • Internship duration is 6 months.
