Fiber Design Engineer - German Speaker / GE Smallworld / GIS Skills

We are partnered up with a global multinational technology company that is focused on engineering networks and operations who are looking for a Fiber Design Engineer to join their team on a remote basis in Germany or Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the customers in German and interaction with the project teams in English.
• Identify and address technical and process-related challenges.
• Gain a deep understanding of fibre technology and its applications within the telecommunications industry.
• Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and agility in approach.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both written and spoken German language is essential.
• 3 years' experience as a fibre designer.
• Knowledge of GE Smallworld would be beneficial.
• GIS skills is mandatory.
• The role requires visiting customers, in Switzerland, when required
