- Support with Identification, Development, Negotiation of complex long-term structured energy transactions in the New Energy/Emerging Commodities and if required in the Renewable Offtake space
- Build tools /models in order to perform risk assessments/valuations/analyses
- Engage in and add value to origination processes/leads through market research/ customer presentations
- Assist in the development of relationships with traditional and non-traditional producers/customers
- Contribute to internal stakeholder management, product definition and support in decision making prosceses
- Quantitative University degree preferred, with 3-5 years experience in energy trading, investment banking or consulting
- Modelling/Coding skills - best demonstrated in a commercial environment
- Gained understanding of the commercial specifics of energy commodities markets
- Understanding of option pricing concepts and ease to expand on/ apply those
- Understanding of state -of-the-art risk metrics and analytics
- Able to perform analyses, financial valuations, build models
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple potential transactions and business opportunities
- Basic understanding of market regulations, policies and pending sector specific regulatory frameworks (e.g. RED III)
- Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus
