    We are currently seeking a Computer Scientist to join our IT - Clinical Systems division on a full-time basis (38.5 hours per week) with compensation based on qualifications and tasks assigned according to TV-L. Reference number: 9085.

    The hospital's IT division (GBIT) plays a key role in the digitalization of patient care, employing over 100 specialists to support more than 11,000 employees, patients, their families, and partners. Managing a vast IT infrastructure, including workstations and servers, our focus lies on enhancing business and clinical systems, primarily SAP and Orbis, along with handling crucial IT projects.

    Our goal is to implement modern, secure, and highly available information technology efficiently. Managing systems for image data is vital in meeting the challenges of digitalization in healthcare. The Clinical Systems department is responsible for supporting the central PACS system.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Providing consulting, support, and implementing specialized imaging solutions for patient care
    • Supporting the central PACS environment and diagnostic software
    • Optimizing image data management and worklist processes
    • Coordinating IT-supported processes for digital image processing
    • Ensuring high standards in medical imaging diagnostics and technical documentation

    We are seeking candidates with:

    • Training as an IT specialist, IT-related studies, or equivalent qualification
    • Experience in administering complex IT systems, preferably in healthcare
    • Strong independent, structured, and team-oriented work ethic
    • Interest in problem analysis, process design, and project collaboration
    • Proficiency in German and English communication
