The Software Developer Lab Automation System(position for all genders) at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for translating requirements into software design.

This role is part of the Software Engineering team based in Munich and offers a hybrid work setup. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to revolutionize healthcare continuously, one diagnosis at a time.

As a part of this role, you will:

• Translate requirements into software design.
• Create the necessary documentation following internal product development processes and regulations from entities like FDA and ISO.
• Develop architecture, design, code, and conduct unit tests for modules/components.
• Engage in design, code, and test reviews to ensure the application of best software engineering practices, as well as assess feasibility, effectiveness, and compliance with functional and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and system issues using a variety of methods and propose innovative solutions.

The key requirements for this position include:

• A Bachelor's degree with several years of experience in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Visual C# development.
• Extensive knowledge in .NET / .NET Core and Multithreading, as well as proficiency in NUnit / MSTest.
• Hands-on experience in agile Software Development.
• Familiarity with OOA/OOD development methodologies, UML tools, and design patterns.

Having previous exposure to the following would be advantageous:

• Visual Studio 2019 or newer versions.
• Expertise in software lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test) and software development processes for regulated environments (ISO13845 and ISO62304).
