- Assist with establishing design input needs, assessing feasibility, and identifying technical solutions during the concept and feasibility phase.
- Design electronic and electrical hardware to meet specifications, including analogue and digital system designs for new and modified products.
- Plan components, assembly, and system verification and validation, as well as implementation and evaluation (risk analysis and cost estimation).
- Develop technical documentation for product design, including requirements, schematics, and drawings, in accordance with internal quality management and medical device regulations.
- Obsolescence Management; track obsolete components, evaluate risk, find alternatives, create/modify part specifications and/or re-design of related circuits
- MSc / BSc in Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing electrical or electronic components for medical devices.
- Proficient in circuit design and board layout using professional CAD tools (e.g. Altium) while considering manufacturing and EMC criteria.
- Knowledge of Polarion SW platform for requirements, quality, and application lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with medical device standards
- Familiar with FDA Quality System Regulations and MDR
- Familiar with Risk Assessments/ Analysis
- Accurate and responsible, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, as well as process design knowledge
