- Lead Management - Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing, in addition to outbound prospecting focused on the Manufacturing industry
- Customer Engagement - Contact prospective customers in the assigned area to determine their needs and degree of interest in the company's products and services
- Sales Demonstration - Schedule or conduct web sales demonstrations and maintain detailed notes in the lead tracking system. Ensure resources are available for effective demos when needed
- Product and Competitior Knowledge - Be knowledgeable about the company's products and services, as well as the activities of competitors
- Customer Relationship Management - Maintain positive customer relationships to maximize product/service satisfaction, obtain new sales, and strengthen existing relationships
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with the rest of the sales team and other departments such as marketing, customer service, and sales support
- Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Tools - Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
- Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation space
- Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Language - Fluency in both German and English
- Education - Preferred associate's or bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in Food & Beverage industry
- Previous experience working in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment

These solutions are currently utilized by over 3200 companies, including major players in the automotive, food, water, life science, and mining industries. octoplant serves as a comprehensive and vendor-independent data management platform, offering a holistic view of all automation processes involving OT and IT. It provides users with protection against production downtime, data loss, and significantly enhances cyber security. AUVESY-MDT is actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams. We are looking for a motivated, engaging, and well-rounded individual who will be responsible for managing both inbound and external leads for the sales team.
