Tasks

As a Backend Engineer, you'll work directly with our CTO, David, to develop robust systems and user interfaces driving our business forward.

Collaborate closely with our CTO and cross-functional team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems that are reliable, scalable, and secure
Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery
Continuously innovate and optimize our backend infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

4-5 years of hands-on experience with JVM-based languages such as Kotlin and/or Java, preferably with Spring Boot expertise
Solid understanding of designing complex architectures and hands-on experience with microservices and cloud architectures
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory

What's a Plus:

Experience working in a B2B SaaS and/or Startup environment
Knowledge about enterprise security requirements and multi-tenancy applications
DevOps experience with tools such as Docker, AWS and Terraform
Familiarity with AI, prompt engineering and vector databases
