    WHAT YOU'LL DO


    As a Senior Knowledge Analyst within BCG's Risk & Compliance Knowledge Team, you will work in a growing global team, support our consulting and client teams by providing expertise on risk management topics, especially related to market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk in commodity markets and industries exposed to commodity market risks.

    You will contribute to the knowledge development and engagement for the broader Risk & Compliance practice across industries. Key activities include the development, ownership and maintenance of selected offerings, key benchmarks and databases (e.g., the BCG Power and Gas Trading benchmark survey) linking with the broader content coverage of the risk management topic, close interaction and navigation with the Expert Risk & Compliance Team and its topic leaders, in particular the Market and Commodity Risk team, as well as alignment on broader practice area activities with the practice area management.

  • YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (PhD or MBA can be of advantage) in business administration, economics, finance or other a suitable quantitative subjects, such as mathematics, physics, engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in business intelligence or risk management (especially related to market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk) in commodity markets, e.g., power, gas or oil within either the financial institutions industry, the energy Industry or another industry with commodity focus, or at least 2 years related consulting experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
