About the Job:
A Snapshot of Your Day As a Supplier Quality Engineer SQE for the auxiliary systems of our gas turbines steam turbines and generators you will be responsible for conducting supplier qualification development and quality assurance measures You will work closely with various departments in a multicultural environment both locally and globally within a global supply chain management process An SQE utilizes digitalization tools to enhance our processes and addresses nonconformances by conducting containment root cause analysis RCA and implementing preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies How You ll Make an Impact Supplier Qualification Support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities auditing supplier quality management system & processes etc Product and Process Qualification Support the supplier quality assurance measures along the complete PPQ Approve supplier process via submitted Manufacturing Quality Control Plan Perform source / virtual / desk inspection of suppliers of components and systems in the area of responsibility Coordinate nonconformance processing at the supplier ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent recurrence Monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators KPIs adjust quality inspection development planning activities accordingly Facilitate or support",
