Drive Air growth and profitability in the Site by translating global strategy and initiatives into Site Product, Carrier and Performance plans and ensure this is being executed and provide support with expertise and guidance. Responsible for delivering a superior Customer experience to Maersk customers and the execution of all operations tasks on time and on plan to support our Customers success within the Air product.

We are looking for:

• worked as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, forwarding agent, aviation clerk or comparable

• Professional experience in the field of air freight export

• Fluency in English and German skills both written and spoken

• User knowledge of MS Office

• Customer-oriented mindset and interest in dealing directly with customers/service providers

• Friendly nature with organizational talent and strong ability to work in a team

• Resilience and flexibility

• Intercultural awareness.

Your Responsibilities

• Handling of all air freight consolidated shipments

• Scheduling and booking with airlines and truck haulage companies in consultation with the Maersk branch or foreign subsidiaries

• Export customs clearance, taking into account country-specific regulations

• Preparation of AMS/ISF/ACI filing

• IATA-compliant preparation of air waybills and air freight documentation

• Departure control & follow-up.

• Planning of Air Freight Units (ULD)

• Airline price enquiries
