Become part of our project team for the S-Class and EQS-Class, as well as a new high-performance vehicle based on the AMG.EA platform.

Together with our product start-up engineers, you will oversee the start-up of all new type variants, model updates and modification years. Our task is to ensure series production capability from the first hardware assembly through to series production with our project partners and to implement an optimum product design. The vehicle body is first built in our upstream pre-series production, the start-up factory, and is then transferred to series production in Factory - the assembly of the future at the Sindelfingen site. You will gain a comprehensive insight into the cross-functional processes and operational procedures of vehicle assembly, as well as into the tasks of our business partners such as Research & Development (RD), Production Planning, Quality Management, Assembly and Logistics. By preparing and participating in management meetings, you will gain valuable skills that will enrich you both professionally and personally.

These are some of the challenges you will face:

Accompanying our vehicles during assembly in the start-up factory or during production tests in a series environment

Analyzing, documenting and tracking any problems that arise during vehicle assembly

Supporting the selection and coordination of suitable remedial and optimization measures

Validation of product changes with digital tools and sample components in cubing or fixed vehicles

Analysis of components and systems using optical/tactile measurement methods or installation tests with 3D printed parts

Collaboration and performance of tests in the vehicle analysis workshop

Creation and presentation of project documents for documentation and decision-making

In addition to working in day-to-day business, you will also have the opportunity to implement your innovative ideas independently.

Qualifikationen

Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study

Proficient in written and spoken German and English

Confident handling of MS Office

Experience with CAD desirable

Strong technical understanding and high affinity for the product

Analytical way of thinking and strategic way of working

Commitment and ability to work in a team

Open-mindedness and good communication skills
