- Your focus is on the customer's knowledge needs, which, depending on the application, are aligned with their business or technical/scientific goals. In addition, you can use data profiling to gain clarity about the available data.
- In conceptual data models, you ensure the technical structuring of the data. For the subsequent implementation with Oracle database technologies, you use relational, multidimensional, hybrid and, for big data, NoSQL data schemas.
- For data storage, you use Oracle databases, data warehouses and data marts on premises and increasingly autonomously in the cloud. Performance management applications are implemented based on Oracle Essbase. If necessary, you can also use open source products.
- The design of the reporting and analysis applications and dashboards is carried out in close coordination with the customer. The entire range of Oracle Analytics products, competitor tools available to the customer and open source products are used for implementation.
- During data migration, you will support data profiling, the conception of data transfer (ETL - extraction, transformation, loading) and the implementation of the ETL process, including the necessary automation and the provision of suitable check routines.
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, information economics or industrial engineering with an IT affinity
- Required knowledge and ideally practical experience in the following areas:

- Data modeling for data warehousing and OLAP: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema
- Monitoring and online analysis: Conception and development of reports, dashboards, reporting systems on the web and on mobile devices
