- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as construction services, machinery, equipment, MRO, and engineering services.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Manage supplier relationships to drive performance improvements, cost reductions, and innovation.
- Monitor and track supplier performance against KPIs, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting procurement activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and optimize cost efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Strategic Buyer or Procurement Specialist, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of indirect procurement categories, particularly in construction services, machinery, equipment, MRO, and engineering services.
- Proficiency in German (B2 level minimum) is essential.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
