We are looking for a candidate to become our new Satellite Ground System Engineer d m f with focus on Mission Control for national space projects within Airbus Space Engineering located in Friedrichshafen Germany You will join a diverse empowered team working on Space & Ground Systems Architectures Secure Space Solutions Systems Engineering Development Operations Data Processing and Performance Modelling
- Definition and design of Satellite Ground Systems use of state-of-the-art methods Scrum Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Requirements analysis and architecture definition for Ground Segments regarding satellite monitoring control interfaces to ground stations mission planning systems
- Design trade-offs interface management evaluation optimization design decisions identification internal external interfaces creation interface documents ICD specification hardware software elements redundancy concepts support defining ground segment operating concepts training satellite operators cost estimates development operation system development AIV assembly integration verification contributions proposals studies research activities technical management procurement software components interdisciplinary collaboration Space Segment Performance Operations Engineering Qualification education background completed university degree Aerospace Computer Science equivalent qualification more than years professional experience relevant fields technical expertise knowledge practical experience processes standards industry experience systems engineering corresponding methods tools adaptability willingness learn interest ability quickly familiarize oneself new technologies project experience classified advantage managing stakeholders soft skills good communication presentation style teamwork language fluency German English French skills plus This job requires awareness potential compliance risks commitment act integrity foundation Company success reputation sustainable growth
