- Advising the Management Board and all business units on all legal and compliance-related matters.
- Contract development and review for all business units including contract negotiations with external parties.
- Monitoring the development of the legal environment (legislation, case law) and derivation of need for action for the company.
- External representation of the company in legal matters.
- Communicating legal and compliance issues within the company.
- Preparation of and follow-up on committee meetings (Executive Board, etc.).
- Further development of the compliance management system.
- Ongoing compliance risk analysis and monitoring.
- Conducting compliance audits and internal investigations.
- Development, communication and maintenance of internal guidelines.
- Organizational tasks (contract database, key documents, etc.).
- Special tasks (e.g. involvement in projects).
- First and second state examinations in law, qualification as a judge.
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in an insurance company or law firm, ideally in relation to the above-mentioned fields of activity.
- Drive, problem-solving skills, curiosity as well as networked thinking and a healthy degree of pragmatism, plus flexibility and willingness for continuous further training.
- Very good understanding of economic and organizational contexts.
- Open-minded, committed and independent way of working with absolute reliability and integrity.
- German language skills at native level and very good English skills (business fluent).
- Very good communication skills, ability to work in a team and professionalism.
- Clear IT affinity, incl. adept handling of MS Office/MS 365.
- 0-3 months: You will get to know the organization, make initial contacts and familiarize yourself with your tasks as part of your onboarding. A buddy will be available to you regularly during this time. At this time you will also have your first meeting with the HR department so that any questions or organizational matters can be clarified.
- 4-6 months: You become more and more familiar with your role and have completed the majority of your onboarding. Your buddy will also support you during this time. The second interview with HR is due.
- 7-12 months: You have all the information and tools you need to carry out your tasks confidently and independently.
