    Job Title: DFM/DFT Engineer - Power Electronics

    Job Overview: As a DFM/DFT Engineer specialising in Power Electronics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the manufacturability and testability of cutting-edge power electronic products. You will collaborate closely with design engineers and manufacturing teams to optimise designs for reliability, efficiency, and ease of production.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines and strategies to enhance the manufacturability of power electronic products.
    • Conduct detailed design reviews to identify and address potential manufacturing challenges early in the product development cycle.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise product designs for cost-effective production and assembly.
    • Define and implement Design for Testability (DFT) methodologies to streamline testing processes and ensure product quality.
    • Design and develop test fixtures and procedures for functional testing and validating power electronic systems.
    • Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations to improve product reliability and yield rates.
    • Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure alignment with DFM/DFT requirements.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DFM/DFT for power electronics.

    Qualifications:

    • or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in DFM/DFT engineering, specifically in power electronics.
    • Strong understanding of power electronic circuit design, components, and manufacturing processes.
    • Proficient in using CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence) for schematic capture and PCB layout.
    • Hands-on experience with designing and testing power electronic systems and assemblies.
    • Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
