- Aa a database administrator (m/f/d), you will ensure reliable, high-performance and secure database operation of business-critical and highly available applications, including incident troubleshooting as well as problem and change management.
- You will help optimize and ensure the operation of central high availability solutions (RAC, Dataguard) and further develop backup and recovery strategies.
- In addition, you automate standard database-relevant administration tasks.
- You carry out proactive vulnerability and error analyzes as well as performance tuning measures.
- You will also be the contact person for questions about database performance, troubleshooting and scaling.
- You examine and evaluate new technologies and features in terms of their benefits and work on interdisciplinary projects.
- You have successfully completed a degree in (business) information technology or training in the IT sector.
- You have several years of experience in administering Oracle database systems under Linux or AIX.
