Requirements:

• In-depth technical knowledge of inter-array grid test and termination activities.
• Proficiency in handling termination activities for offshore wind farm export cables of 120kV or greater.
• Previous experience with medium and high voltage work in offshore or onshore environments.
• Proven track record in T&T operations management, supervision, or training.
• Extensive experience with termination products from leading manufacturers such as Pfisterer, TE, Nexans, and NKT.
• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualifications (BS7671, EN50110, or national equivalent).
• Willingness to undertake occasional offshore trips for team familiarization with equipment setups.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Tasks:

1. Equipment Setup Management:

• Coordinate all termination equipment setups for projects across the S7 portfolio.
• Ensure alignment with subcontractor provisions and project requirements.
• Optimize equipment arrangements to improve efficiency and reliability.

1. Technical Support:

• Provide technical and operational support during execution, addressing field issues as they arise.
• Implement standardized procedures for cable termination activities.
• Conduct document checks and maintain process improvements.

1. Training and Development:

• Arrange or attend training events for T&T supervisors and subcontractors.
• Develop and improve standard ITPs for cable termination activities.
• Facilitate routine training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

1. Equipment Standardization:

• Standardize equipment and tooling concepts for termination activities.
• Build up termination equipment assets for S7 projects, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Participate in design and scope reviews for projects, offering technical expertise and guidance.

1. Stakeholder Liaison:

• Collaborate closely with engineers, subcontractors, and warehouse teams to plan and procure termination equipment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from management to operational staff.
• Ensure smooth coordination and logistical documentation for equipment mobilizations.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Maintain the lessons learned process from cable termination operations and feed improvements back into CID processes.
• Prepare cost assessments for S7's own equipment to evaluate current and potential future setups, aiming to enhance overall efficiency and reliability.
