Job Title: Microbiologist at a Family-Owned Cosmetic Company

Expect interesting tasks:

• Microbiological testing of raw materials, cosmetics, and water samples
• Ensuring hygiene monitoring including conducting hygiene swabs, preservative efficacy tests according to DIN EN ISO 11930, preparation and determination of inoculum, effectiveness testing of neutralizing agents, determination of product preservation effect
• Bacterial differentiations using MALDI-TOF-MS
• Performing microscopic procedures
• Interpreting and evaluating test results
• Calibrating and maintaining analysis equipment

Skills required:

• Completed training as a laboratory assistant, medical technical assistant, or comparable education with relevant work experience, or a scientific degree (preferably in microbiology)
• Extensive practical skills in various microbiological laboratory tasks
• Knowledge of analytical instruments
• Highly precise and analytical working style
• Strong team and communication skills
• Sound judgment and quick comprehension
