    YOUR MISSION

    As our Senior Communications Manager you will support us in shaping osapiens company image and delivering our vision to help companies to incorporate corporate sustainability in a digital and connected world. Collaborating across the organization, you will work within the Corporate Communications team to communicate relevant topics around ESG, sustainability and our company in an engaging way to media & journalists.

    You will be responsible for all things communications and will own and execute the PR strategy independently and across Europe. We are looking for a self-starter who is extremely driven, full of energy and ideas to create stories and drive awareness in the fast-moving scale-up world. The ideal candidate (m/f/d) is used to work in the fast-paced scale-up environment, has a strategic mindset, very strong writing skills, loves to come up with creative solutions, and is looking forward to deepening their expertise in sustainability.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Refine and implement the corporate communications strategy that supports our business goals across all communication channels, including positioning, messaging, and content strategies with a focus on PR, Public Affairs and Social Media.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership to create, edit, publish, and share media-focused content like press releases, byline articles, statements, rapid responses, website blogs or media pitches.
    • Develop content: Develop, manage, and deliver compelling content that engages target audiences. This includes message development, writing and storytelling, video production and graphic design instruction.
    • Responsible for international media relations, establishing and maintaining contacts with journalists and managing media requests, steering our regional PR agencies for support.
    • Drive external engagement: Analyze trends to optimize engagement across channels such as media, social, paid, digital and traditional amplifying our sustainability message and engaging target audiences.
    • Actively monitor the news situation, spotting media opportunities and keeping the company informed about company coverage and media trends.
    • Brief and prepare spokespeople for interviews and accompany these. Take over speaking opportunities on conferences and events.
    • Monitor and report on communications and brand KPIs using tools like Prowly and Sprinklr. Analyse communications results and convert data into meaningful insights to facilitate data-based decision making and define future strategies.

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR

    • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., marketing communications, business communications, etc.).
    • You have been working in communications, public relations, or a related field, within saas or tech environment (this industry experience is essential) and have been responsible for content and media relations.
    • Strong in-depth knowledge of PR, communication strategies and the media landscape.
    • Exceptional writing skills and passion for creative storytelling; experience in drafting media content in form of press releases, byline articles, pitches, rapid responses. Ability to condense complex material into compelling copy and visuals.
    • Business fluent in German and excellent professional level of English (C2 or native) in written and verbal communication.
    • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth (startup) environment preferred.
    • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on mentality.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures, functions, and time zones, able to successfully operate in a matrixed organization with minimal supervision.
    • You must have working proficiency in English and German
