Cognizant is looking for a Deskside Support Engineer in Unterschleissheim 85716near München . This is a 100% office role (not remote) that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.

In this Deskside Support Engineer role, you will install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability by end users. You will also troubleshoot software and hardware issues for Windows workstations and mobility support/management.

In your first few weeks in this Deskside Support Engineer role, you can expect to:

·Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Windows workstations and mobility support/management

·Repair or replace damaged hardware like laptops/desktops/iPads

·Upgrade the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers as per client standards

·Install and upgrade anti-virus software on the computer to ensure security standards are met as defined by the client

·Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware for Windows

·2-3 years of experience as an End user Support engineer, Deskside support engineer, Field support engineer – deskside / IT Service Desk Engineer/IT Support Engineer

·Fluency in German and English
