- Development and implementation of strategic product initiatives
- Evaluation of market and customer needs, incl. competitor analysis for specific products
- Support of local key account managers to develop the business and provide technical/commercial guidance
- Joint customer visits with local sales organizations as technical consultant to key customers
- Channel "market needs" from the regions to the Product Line organization
- Representation of customer interests internally to foster customer satisfaction
- Establish a presence at key technical conferences
- University degree in technology (materials science, physics, mechanical engineering or similar)
- Several years of experience in surface technology (PVD or PACVD coatings, experience in carbon coatings beneficial)
- Experience in managing technical products and product portfolios in a global matrix organization in a B2B environment
- Sales experience of high tech products is a benefit
- Language: English (fluent; must), German preferred
- Flexibility to travel (approx. up to 40%)
- Exceptional customer orientation as well as technical and technological understanding
- Constructive as well as critical challenging mindset with experience in international and cross-cultural business environment
