Field Applications Engineer - SiC Semiconductor Technology

Overview: We seek a highly skilled and motivated Field Applications Engineer with specialized expertise in Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor technology. As a key technical team member, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers and driving the successful implementation of SiC and GaN solutions in various applications.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

• Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers during the design, development, and integration phases of SiC and GaN semiconductor solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to semiconductor applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Customer Collaboration:

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for the adoption of SiC technology and contribute to developing customized solutions.

Product Training:

• Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on the features, benefits, and best practices of SiC and GaN semiconductor technologies.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements, ensuring continuous learning and knowledge transfer.

Application Development:

• Work closely with R&D teams to provide feedback on product performance and contribute to developing new features and capabilities.
• Support the design and testing of applications incorporating SiC and GaN semiconductors.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs to assist customers in effectively implementing SiC and GaN solutions.

Market Analysis:

• Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in SiC and GaN semiconductors.
• Provide insights and recommendations to guide product development and business strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor technology, with a focus on SiC and GaN.
• Strong understanding of power electronics, RF, and high-frequency applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
