- Data Platform and Storage Solutions: You will architect efficient and scalable data storage solutions by utilizing your experience in building data warehouses and designing cloud data lakes. You will also lead the development and maintenance of our Data Platform to ensure its reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Team Leadership and Development: You will lead and manage a team of 5 members, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development in areas such as solution design, system architecture, data architecture, and data modeling, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Governance and Compliance: You will implement and enforce governance policies focusing on data privacy, access control, and regulatory compliance. You will also manage budget allocations, including license procurement and optimization for cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Expertise and Innovation: You will drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges using your expertise in Python, SQL, and other relevant data engineering languages. You will optimize platform performance and reliability through your extensive knowledge of cloud engineering, particularly in AWS.
- Infrastructure and Agile Practices: You will ensure adherence to infrastructure as code best practices using CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and GitLab repository. You will collaborate effectively within multifunctional agile teams to foster timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication and Decision-Making: You will collaborate with stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding technology selection, architecture design, and implementation strategies. You will also communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, with fluency in English being essential.
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have proven experience in developing and maintaining Data Platforms, with expertise in AWS and Snowflake.
- You possess strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant data engineering languages.
- You have demonstrated the ability to lead and mentor teams, with a focus on solution design and architecture.
- You have in-depth knowledge of cloud engineering principles and best practices, particularly in AWS.
- You have experience implementing and enforcing governance policies, including data privacy and access control.
- You are familiar with agile methodologies and have experience working in agile teams.
