This is a rare opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Health Economics team for the EMEA region.
This newly formed leadership position will be a critical linkage for the growing Global Health Economics function.In this role, you will ensure sustainable Market Access success from a Health Economics perspective for Gore’s medical device portfolio by leading a team of Health Economic and Value Strategists, as well as an Economic Modeller. This includes ensuring the team’s ability to effectively investigate, analyse and develop strategies, as well as educate on coding, coverage and reimbursement (CC&R) and policy. In addition, you are responsible for the timely generation of product and portfolio economic value messages for Gore’s Provider and Clinical Selling teams. You will work as part of a broad leadership team to enable the execution of our commercial strategies to drive profitable growth in the context of a changing healthcare environment for the entire EMEA region.
As a hands-on leader, you will coordinate and project manage all HE related external consulting activity required to facilitate reimbursement dossier submissions for satellite EMEA countries. You will work with cross functional leadership to define and drive a successful Market Access process, serving ultimately to obtain and sustain maximum price for all relevant MPD products. You will be passionate about providing Health Economics leadership in support of state-of-the-art implantable medical devices and energized to work for a world-class manufacturer where you can collaborate on cross-functional teams. You will recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships. Master's degree (or higher) in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Information Management, or a related business discipline with extensive experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries, with 10 years directly related to HEOR activity.
Prior leadership experience of people and projects, able to support the planning and coordination of team activities, and able to drive decisions based on business goal and priorities.
Skilled at formulating plans and strategies that support Gore’s Market Access process for the EMEA region, including formulating product and portfolio value propositions and associated evidence collection strategies.
Able to promote understanding of core Health Economic concepts across relevant business functions.
Motivated to coordinate all external consulting activity for reimbursement dossier submissions for satellite EMEA countries and represent the team (both internally and externally) when needed.
Able to foster and facilitate a collaborative environment and drive departmental budget planning and execution.
Experienced in interfacing with governmental agencies, external medical device policy groups and technology assessment organizations (such as MedTech Europe, Assobiomedica, NHS England, NIHR, NICE and Mecomed) and able to influence across healthcare institutions, policymakers, payers.
Advanced knowledge of coding and payment systems for physician and hospital provider services.
Demonstrated ability to understand and create clinical and economic evidence, including methodology and analysis, to support new and commercialized products.
A proven partner of sales organizations who is able to work effectively in a team environment, both virtually and on-site, and able to build and maximise cross-functional networks and relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus able to travel overnight (up to 60%).
