Job Description:

As a Private Equity Associate with a focus on the tech/software sector, you will play a key role in all aspects of the investment process, from deal origination to execution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

1. Deal Sourcing and Due Diligence: Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities within the technology and software industries. Conducting comprehensive due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and assessment of competitive positioning.
2. Financial Modeling and Valuation: Building detailed financial models to analyze investment opportunities, including revenue projections, cash flow analysis, and valuation methodologies tailored to the tech/software sector.
3. Transaction Execution: Assisting in the structuring and negotiation of investment transactions, including term sheets, purchase agreements, and financing arrangements. Collaborating with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
4. Portfolio Management: Monitoring and supporting portfolio companies post-investment, including financial performance tracking, strategic planning, and operational initiatives aimed at driving value creation and maximizing returns.
5. Market Research and Industry Analysis: Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the tech/software sector. Providing insights and recommendations to support investment decision-making and portfolio management strategies.
