    Data Integration Manager (m/w/d) - Azure, Python

    A Data Integration Manager (m/w/d) is required to join an international retail organisation. The company has over 100 years of history with over 40,000 employees and 2,000 locations worldwide.

    This role would be part of the Business Insights division which currently consists of 20 colleagues. There are also plans to grow the team to 30 by the end of the year.

    This is a hands-on role where you would be responsible for the strategic and operational development of data integration, data governance and data quality management. You would work as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate internally on key data issues across multiple departments.

    Tasks:

    • Take strategic and operational responsibility for the areas of data quality management, data integration and data governance.
    • Support the structured and consistent integration of all company data in the data lake.
    • Development of tools and methods for identifying data quality problems and carrying out root-cause analyses.
    • Be the point of contact for all data quality topics across various departments.

    Your profile:

    • A min. of 2 years' experience in Data Engineering, Data Management, or Data Integration space topics.
    • Experience with cloud-based technologies (ideally Databricks or Microsoft Azure) as well as programming languages (SQL, Python,...) and willingness to take on operational tasks.
    • Willingness and ability to bridge the gap between business and tech for internal stakeholders.
    • Fluent German and English skills.
