- Weiterentwicklung des Konzepts zum Betrieb der integrierten Windows-Systeme (z. B. Active Directory, Dateidienste, Druckdienste, Update Management, Software Distribution) mit Modernisierung und Erweiterung der zugrundeliegenden Systemarchitektur für universitätsweit verfügbare Dienste
- Administration der Windowsserver, Windowsclients, inkl. der Benutzer- und Objektverwaltung im Verzeichnisdienst Active Directory
- Mitwirkung bei der Entwicklung eines Konzepts für den universitätsweiten Ausbau des Desktop Computings
- Ausbau und Betrieb der Dienstleistung Managed Desktop Computing inkl. der Auswahl, Beschaffung, Installation und Konfiguration von PC-Hardware, das Testen, Installieren und Freigeben von Updates und Security-Patches sowie die ferngesteuerte Software-Verteilung und Software-Installation
- 2nd Level Support
- Erstellung von Softwarepaketen innerhalb der eingesetzten Desktopmanagement-Software
- abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Fachinformatiker*in mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung
- detaillierte Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Windows Betriebssystemen sowie in Windows Server und Active Directory
- Grundkenntnisse im Umgang mit Virtualisierungslösungen sowie in Skriptsprachen
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Desktopmanagement-Software
- sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit und sowie verantwortungsbewusste und kooperative Arbeitsweise

Systemadministrator*in Windows Server und Desktop Computing (m/w/d)
Das kiz ist mit etwa 160 Beschäftigten die zweitgrößte zentrale Einrichtung der Universität Ulm und erbringt für Forschung, Lehre, Studium und Verwaltung Dienstleistungen in den Bereichen Bibliothek, Informationstechnik und Medien.
Die Abteilung Infrastruktur ist dabei zuständig für die gesamte Netzwerkinfrastruktur, die Bereitstellung der IT-Grundausstattung, einen High-Performance-Computing Cluster sowie für weitere systemnahe Dienste, die ein modernes IT Zentrum zur Verfügung stellt.
Aufgaben
