Global Coil Radiation Cure Researcher (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Building expertise in the radiation curing of coil coatings to support regional R&D projects
• Developing action plans to meet laboratory work requirements
• Utilizing advanced data analysis for formulation and problem-solving in coating development
• Collaborating in the preparation of research proposals for short and long-term research and development projects with detailed breakdowns of work
• Selecting suitable raw materials for Ebeam/UV coatings based on scientific principles and experiments
• Establishing a strong network of upstream and downstream stakeholders
• Timely execution of planned tasks in accordance with quality, health, safety, and environmental systems to support projects
• Creating reports and presentations
• Close collaboration with other functions, locations, and departments

Your requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree in (coating) chemistry, alternatively, further training as a technician
• Solid professional experience, preferably in the coil-coating industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of electron beam and UV curing of coatings
• Several years of experience in product development and project management
• Independent, proactive, and methodical work approach
• Commitment and teamwork
• Strong analytical and communicative skills
• Fluent English skills are mandatory; knowledge of German is advantageous

Global Coil Radiation Cure Researcher (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben

• Aufbau von Fachwissen in der Strahlenhärtung von Coil Coatings zur Unterstützung regionaler R&D Projekte
• Ausarbeitung von Aktionsplänen zur Erfüllung der Arbeitsanforderungen an das Labor
• Nutzung fortschrittlicher Datenanalysen zur Formulierung und Problemlösung bei der Entwicklung von Beschichtungen
• Mitarbeit bei der Vorbereitung von Forschungsvorschlägen für kurz- und langfristige Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeiten mit detaillierten Informationen zur Arbeitsaufgliederung
• Auswahl von geeigneten Rohstoffen für Ebeam/UV-Beschichtungen auf Basis wissenschaftlicher Prinzipien und Versuchen
• Aufbau eines starken Netzwerks von vor- und nachgelagerten Interessengruppen
• Fristgerechte Durchführung geplanter Aufgaben in Übereinstimmung mit den Qualitäts-, Gesundheits-, Sicherheits- und Umweltsystem zur Unterstützung bei Projekten
• Erstellung von Berichten und Präsentationen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Funktionen, Standorten und Abteilungen

Ihre Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Bachelor-Studium im Bereich (Beschichtungs-)Chemie, alternativ Weiterbildung zum Techniker
• Fundierte Berufserfahrung, vorzugsweise in der Coil-Coating Industrie
• Umfassende Kenntnisse in der Elektronenstrahl- und UV-Härtung von Beschichtungen
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Produktentwicklung und im Projektmanagement
• Selbstständige, proaktive und methodische Arbeitsweise
• Engagement und Teamfähigkeit
• Starke analytische und kommunikative Fähigkeiten
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse zwingend erforderlich; Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil
