We're actively looking for a Group Accountant to join a prominent software brand in the construction tech sector, supported by a well-established private equity firm. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the CFO, enjoying the chance to excel in a fast-paced setting and advance swiftly through the ranks.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the CFO to oversee all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for the company.
2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
4. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
5. Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluation of business units within the software tech portfolio.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.
7. Support strategic initiatives and special projects as directed by the CFO and executive leadership.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of German accounting principles (HGB) and proficiency in financial reporting standards (IFRS).
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
8. Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive process improvements.
9. Fluency in both English and German languages is required.
