As Corporate Counsel you will be a key member of Audible's European and wider global legal teams.

You will work closely with legal and business colleagues to support Audible's current and future service across Germany, UK, France, Italy, and Spain, including supporting audio content development, production, acquisition, and distribution deals.

You will work on a variety of complicated projects and sophisticated transactions, and will provide strategic and legal advice across a wide range of issues, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance.

Provide counsel on original content productions, including on intellectual property matters (e.g., Coordinate and interact with business affairs, finance, operations, and other stakeholders throughout the content acquisition, production, and distribution lifecycle

• Monitor and lead our response to regulatory developments impacting our European operations and initiatives

• Trained and qualified at an international law firm
• 5+ years postqualification experience, including experience supporting a digital media or content business as a member of or on secondment to an inhouse team
• Business fluency in both written and spoken German and English

Effectively prioritizes and runs a large number of projects at once in a fast-moving environment

• Experience in the book publishing industry, in the film and TV industry, or of music licensing
• Proficiency in an additional European language (in particular Spanish, French, Italian)
