Financial Controller - hybrid
CSG is partnering with a large global Mining & Recycling machinery manufacturing organisation. They are in the process of expanding their Cologne-based team thanks to an influx of new work.

This opportunity is situated within the Controlling team and is mainly focused on controlling and internally revising/auditing the international subsidiaries.

Responsibilities
~Support in investment controlling for our subsidiaries and for newly established companies
~Collaboration in the further development of the audit concept with a focus on continuous improvement and exchange of best practice
~Preparation, implementation and evaluation of audits
~Optimization of controlling tools, including setting up data structures and expanding existing reports in Jedox and Power BI
~Creating budgets and forecasts, as well as assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
~Analyzing deviations and deriving alternative courses of action

Requirements
~Completed studies in business administration, finance, controlling or a similar field
~Additional qualifications such as further training in controlling or certification as a controller can be an advantage
~Relevant professional experience in controlling, ideally in international mechanical engineering or a similar industry
~Knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting and financial analysis
~Experience with internal auditing is an advantage
~Ability to analyze complex data and derive strategic recommendations from it
~Enjoy varied tasks and a wide range of topics
~Motivation to optimize processes and change / shape things
~Business fluent in German and English
~Independent, analytical and meticulous way of working
~High level of communication and teamwork skills
~High IT affinity, database knowledge an advantage
~Willingness to travel occasionally
~Car driver's license
~Conscientious, independent work, high sense of responsibility, structured and team-oriented way of working
