The successful candidate for this position will enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a diverse group of adminstrative and medical professionals.
In this role you will focus on:
Administering preventative and corrective care to healthyill, injured, or disabled patients
Diagnosingand establishing patient treatment plans
Communicatingwith collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Educatingpatients and parents about health maintenance and disease prevention
Maintaining accurate patient medical records
Providingadvice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Communicatingimmunization, blood draw and procedure orders to medical staff
A current NYS Medical License
Experience working with a EHR systems
The abilityto work as part of a multidisciplinary team and manage deadlines well
experience establishing and maintaining positive and effective work relationships
A history of participation in clinical and quality improvement projects
A commitment and experience working with underserved and diverse populations
A strong interest in public health
Experience in community center or urban sites preferred
