- You will play a vital role in preparing monthly and annual financial statements of our sales companies in accordance with US-GAAP and HGB.
- You will handle provisions, prepaid expenses, and other deferral postings with precision.
- In addition to regular account maintenance and reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers, you will also be responsible for verifying automatic entries from other departments, e.g., HR.
- You will be interacting with our American corporate parent and other Henry Schein entities.
- Your expertise in evaluating and recording fixed assets and leasing-related matters is pivotal.
- Furthermore, you will act as a point of contact for authorities, auditors, and other departments regarding financial or accounting queries.
- Completed commercial education with successful further training as a Financial/Accounting Clerk (m/f/d), or relevant experience in auditing
- Several years of professional experience in the described field or in taxation or auditing
- Familiarity with preparing financial statements for internationally operating companies and good knowledge of commercial law
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system
- Proficient in German (at least C1 language level) and good command of English
