    MSP-CX is looking for a Controls Integration Engineer to bepart of our global team to deliver the next generation ofworld-class fulfillment systems through the use of advancedtechnology.

    Successful candidates are natural self-starters whohave prior engineering experience in the integrated automationproject life cycle, including development, design, implementation,enhancement, and support.


    The ControlsIntegration Engineer will be part of a full product life cycle andresponsible for successful delivery of units for development andoperations.

    You will serve as a liaison between Fulfillment CenterOperations (our customer), product design and developmentengineers.


    This role will require the abilityto build relationships across a cross functional team capturing andsynthesizing the voice of the customer.

    Their primary goal is toown the field activities integrating, deploying, andtroubleshooting solutions for new mechatronics systems andpackaging technology; act as a liaison for internal and externalresources and be on call as needed to support downtime events.

    Thisposition will also provide proper training and support to facilitycontrols technicians on system troubleshooting and preventivemaintenance to focus on the system performance improvement andoptimization.

    In parallel with the Deployment Teams you willsupport performance ramp of the technology deployment atscale.


    You are able to take the lead on theimplementation and delivery of complex system designs and MSPtechnology in ambiguous and complex problem spaces.

    You integratesystems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency. Youparticipate in the full system development life cycle, workingwithin broadly defined parameters, including test plan executionand solution quality needs.

    Flexible locationsacross the EU (Italy, Germany, Spain) and theUK.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Writecontrol specification documents for deployment of technologyproducts.
    • Integrate control system products and partnerwith suppliers and customers.
    • Commissioning: workingwith all the stakeholders to optimize the workcell to predefinedsuccess criteria to ensure smooth handover of technologyproducts.
    • PLC troubleshoot and diagnostic.
    *Own controls/software commissioning tasks for technologyproducts.

    • Design and develop commissioning tools andcustomer-facing components to facilitate scalable businessgrowth.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance engineering,testing, and operational best practices within theteam.
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis and testing ofboth existing and prospective engineering solutions andcomponents.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams todevelop control specifications and training materials.
    *Lead incident follow-up, root cause analysis, anddocumentation.

    • Engage in industrial engineering designfor both existing and new material handling systems across ourglobal network.
    • Ensure strict adherence to all Health& Safety (H&S) protocols and actively contribute to theidentification and mitigation of potential H&Srisks.
    • Foster effective relationships by partneringwith various stakeholders.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - Bachelordegree in CS or related area.
    - +4 years of hands-onexperience in designing, developing, implementing, and supportingPLC-based control systems.

    • Demonstrated expertise of atleast 4 years in designing or architecture systems, emphasizingdesign patterns, reliability, and scalability of both new andexisting systems.
    - +4 years of experience programmingwith at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java,Python.

    • Skilled in diagnosing PLC control level issues,particularly with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley systems.
    • Familiarity with industrial networking and communicationsprotocols.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in both hardwareand software aspects of Industrial Control Systems.
    • Possess strong analytical capabilities for effectiveproblem solving.
    • A collaborative team player, eager tolead projects and drive successful outcomes.
    • Understanding of control systems and software developmentlife cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, sourcecontrol management, build processes, testing, and operationsexperience.
    • Selfmotivated and customerfocused,consistently striving to meet and exceed clientexpectations.
    • Willingness to travel up to 75% asrequired.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    -Master degree in CS or related area.

    • Experience withintegrated development environments: Codesys.
    • Experience with Linux based systems.
    • AWSCertification.
    • Experienced in managingmaterialhandlingequipment (MHE), including understanding flowdynamics and capacity considerations.
    • Experienceworking in an Agile environment using the Scrummethodology.
