    Description of the Training:

    The training starts and lasts two years. It follows the regulations of the training and examination for food inspectors in North Rhine-Westphalia and consists of practical training for 18 months at our Veterinary and Food Control Office in Grevenbroich and theoretical classes for six months at the Academy for Public Health in Düsseldorf. During the training, performance reviews such as exams, proficiency reports, and written assignments are required.

    Your Qualifications:

    • Relevant professional qualification with additional advanced examination based on the Vocational Training Act, the Crafts Code, or completion as a technician with a state examination in a food-related profession or
    • University degree with a diploma, master's, or bachelor's degree in a course of study that provides knowledge and skills in the field of food, tobacco products, cosmetics, or commodities
    • Class B driver's license and willingness to provide your own vehicle for official purposes with reimbursement of expenses
