- You ensure BASF compliance in terms of labour law, tax, and social security in ongoing and Merger & Acquisition business.
- Legal watch: you closely follow the changes in Spanish law and ensure timely and compliant implementation in our systems with the support of the team.
- You support and consult in the development and implementation of new Collective Labour Agreements affecting payroll and time management.
- You independently take responsibility for project work in the Spanish team (roll out projects, transitions, carve-outs, implementations, etc. ) and play an active role in cross-teams optimization of Payroll and Time Management processes.
- You support your colleagues in the Department in the stabilization of processes and new implementations regarding Payroll and Time Management.
- Partner management: you are constantly in exchange with the team of the Hub and the local partners to identify their needs & coordinate with technical partners to realize the implementation in the relevant systems.
- You analyze and respond to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
- Continuous self-learning and enabling others to develop into payroll professionals is evident for you.
- Support beyond the team and foster networking: you consult and share experiences within the department, with partners and other counterparts.
- You foster Knowledge and Innovation management by further concept development and optimization of processes, explore best-practice-solutions and modernization possibilities of respective IT-systems.
- A successfully completed bachelor or master's degree in business administration or similar.
- Spanish and English on advanced level is a must, German or other EMEA languages as a plus.
- 3 years of fundamental experience in Spanish Payroll.
- Strong SAP Payroll experience. Experience in other HR systems is an advantage.
- Profound expertise in Spanish tax, social security, and labour law.
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals & Time Management.
- Experiences in coordinating projects and implementations.
- Interest in supporting further process development and professional guidance of colleagues by best practice sharing.
- Additional knowledge and/or experience in Payroll for other countries would be an advantage.
- Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
- Gross annual salary (full time): 53,000€ - 56,000€, depending on qualifications and work experience. 62,000€ - 65,000€ possible with higher qualifications. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
