    Your responsibilities

  • Increase of Unipers recognition within key stakeholder groups based on Uniper's transformation strategy, targets and projects with a focus on Asset Operations
  • and new power and gas projects
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy for our energy transformation hubs as part of Uniper ́s integrated communication and transformation approach
  • by using all relevant communication channels, including Social media
  • Support project-specific communication – with a special focus on new-build projects in power, gas and hydrogen
  • Positioning and support of our COO New green Power and Gas in communication matters
  • Development of new formats and occasions internally and externally to foster Uniper's transformation story
  • Positioning of Uniper board members and top executives in national and international events
  • Further development of Uniper's website in close collaboration with different departments within Uniper e.g. Investor Relations, Renewables, Hydrogen, Asset Transformation etc.
  • Support of all communication issues related to the Chief Operations Officer
  • Conference and Community management for the COO leadership community
  • Preparation of key messages, QAs and briefing documents i.a. for press conferences, annual shareholder meetings and trade fairs
  • Your profile

  • University degree in PR, communication, journalism or comparable education
  • Several years of professional experience as a manager for communication, sustainability and / or press spokesperson / journalist preferably in the energy sector or related industries in an international and stock-listed company
  • Several years of professional experience in developing and implementing strategies and building effective and professional relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of the political landscape with regard to relevant regulations, laws and media
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills paired with high self-motivation and sense of responsibility
  • Project management skills as well as experience in management of relevant agencies
  • Strong interest for the energy industry and/or climate protection activities
  • Interest in new developments in politics & finance; openness for different perspectives and approaches
  • Special talent for recognizing complex contexts and contents, evaluating them communicatively and reproducing them adequately and in an easily understandable way
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills as well as a talent for "storytelling"
  • Independent, committed and goal- and team-orientated working style
  • Ability to quickly acquire a broad knowledge of Uniper ́s business and good networking skills
  • Strong inter-cultural skills, team spirit, humour and empathy
